Ponti Sonori

Ponti Sonori

2009

Klagenfurt, Austria

Three areas off the beaten track in Austria, Italy and Slovenia are rediscovered through artistic excursions. The routes are chosen from the dramaturgical point of view, or rather narrative and lead to an extraordinary setting to another. The public is invited to follow these paths based on screenplays or scores (route descriptions) and to leave their traces in the form of recording in a logbook (on site or on the internet). Hikers are therefore, at the same time, users and actors. Going becomes a training act, which is premised on the intense perception and creative capacity, understood as feeling of space and rhythm. Ponti Sonori- Points of Sound takes place along the Slovenian/Austrian border in the Karawanken mountain range. One part of the project Contatto Visivo- Visual Contact organized by Stazione di Topolo and UNIKUM and curated by Moreno Miorelli. The disappearing cultural landscape in Zell-Oberwinkel / Sele-Zvrhnji Kot under Koschuta forms the backdrop of an accessible soundtrack with sound sculptures by Stefano De Santis alias Urkuma (IT) and Michael Delia (USA).
