Formed in 2009, Kalimbutu plays the traditional Mbira music of Southern Africa. The ancient voice that is now  modern. It speaks in tones, buzzes, and drones. Overtones, over the tunes that sing sparkle, sparkle. Two Nyunga Nyunga Mbira's weaving where interlocking rhythms and melody become one, dancing together creating sun - light like the rain.
