Chairs Wired to Sound

 

Two chairs stand 20 meters apart connected by 6 lines of piano wire from the top with 7 strings running along the backs. With the strings activated by wind and hand the chairs also send whispers spoken along the wires. Made of oak and fabricated by Martin Schöffmann.
